One lovely day.

(This post is all over the place! Sorry! There's a lot of colors and sizes and links and topics and ITS JUST A LOT OKAY?!?)

Here are my current senses
.

Hearing: "Crickets and Spiders" -Full Service (Who else?)

Seeing: My gorgeously green front yard, small white flowers, and my sweet red puppy.

Tasting: Grape Kool-Aide, grilled chicken, and some hair that just flew into my mouth.

Smelling: Crispness, pollen (the good kind), grass, and the general smell* of spring time.
Feeling:
Physically: My soft blanket, the flimsy plastic chair, the wind gently blowing my skin, the cool concrete porch under my feet, my HUGE hair tickling my shoulders.
Emotionally: Andrew (more on that later), excited (more on that too), ready, calm, uplifted, hopeful (No more on that one).

And now time for an update:

I like to take pictures of myself...shhhh its a secret passion of mine!

It is an impressive 81 degrees here in Austin right now. God, its just too pretty of a day to let it slip by. And who knew? We get internet on the front porch! Today has been positively the picture perfection. I wish you could be here, its so fresh. So new. So GREEN! (Foreshadowing) Everything I need is right here next to me. My grape Kool-Aide, my pup, my music, my blanket. All of it is just so perfect. I'm wearing a purple and white dressy today. It suited the weather so well.

And with that I will now depress you with tales of my sorrows
.

I previously made a post about my cousin Andrew who passed away. I've been thinking a lot about life and of course, death, and I think I've been thinking maybe a little too much. But, I don't just want go where life takes me. I want to map my own route.

So here is my plan:

1) Find a fabulous job downtown.

2) Get into St. Edward's University.
3) Move into a crappy apartment on Congress Ave. (It'll take some serious moo-lah $$$$)
I'll let you picture that one on your own. :)

4) Live there until I get married, and live happily ever after.

I GET TO SEE SPRING AWAKENING IN DALLAS TOMORROW! I AM SO SO SO PUMPED! WOOOO!

So, I'll leave you with words written by Smellman, of Full Service, in
his tour update.

"....but this dedication makes me think.

Math time!!

We play about 45 minutes on average each show. In a 3 week tour we play prolly 15 shows. 3 weeks is 504 hours. At a set length of 45 min, we are jamming for 11.25 hours out of 504 total hours. Every other second is spent in pursuit of those 11.25 hours. We drive, load in, load out, set merch up, find eats, search for cheap hotels, sleep in beds close to each other, use the bathroom in very uncomfortable conditions, put up with drunk assholes kickin our cd sign just so that 2% off our lives can be spent rocking. 98% of our life right now is spent chasing the rock. I am so tired, freakin cold as ice, hungry, smell terrible, comin down with the cold twink brought with him, and so poor I cant even dream of money. But that 2% is so fuckin sweet!!!!

Think I am on to something. This might be a good way to look at life. We all work hard, need more money, miss our loved ones, dislike workin, hate drunk stupid asses, and get sick from it all sometimes but are saved by only 2%. Chase your two percent at all cost.

Love ya

smelly
"

I am so quoting that ALL THE TIME from now on. "Chase your two percent at all costs." The only thing is, I need to find mine.

I'm sorry this was so long! A whole lotta readin! Phew! I finished before dark, GO ME!
