Alright I lied

I said to everyone at school that I was not going to cheer for anyone. (In regards to the Rose Bowl) I lied. I don't care if I should support Texas, I want 'Bama to win. Their fans seem a whole hell of a lot nicer. And that is my reasoning. Don't get me wrong, I love Texas just as much as the next Texan, but I don't love the UT fans. I know I am probably going to get a lot of flack for this, but it is my opinion. Most UT fans don't understand how hard it is to be an Aggie in Austin. I am so done with hearing people give me (and others) crap because we like a different school.* I get it, you think you're the best person ever. Can I say something that is going to make people pissed off? Okay good. Longhorn fans are terribly sore losers, and even worse winners. I'm sorry, I had to vent a bit. Here is the back story:

Today at school during what seemed like every passing period, the "amazing" office staff decided to play "The Eyes of Texas are Upon You". This put me in a really bad mood. Sorry for being so mean.

* The University of Texas is an amazing school. Some of the smartest people come out of there, its a fabulous school. I am only speaking about the insane football fans. Not the sane fans, just the insane ones. (Don't worry, not you Sara-Jane. You're a legit Longhorn. You go to school there.)

Blissful Tears

This may seem weird of me to put a picture of myself up and call it a post but this picture means so much more than what it seems. I want to thank everyone who ever made me feel happy. All of my followers (all 4!) have made me so so so happy!
I really would like to thank Kayla. I know I've been posting about her moving to San Antonio, but I am now saying thank you Kayla! Thank you for all the wonderful memories, all the crazy car rides, all the insane outings, and all of our stupid inside jokes! Thank you for making me feel blissfully happy. Thank you for making me feel 100% times better about myself. You don't know how comfortable I feel in my own skin because of you! (I don't think it was deliberate, but you have really boosted my confidence.) Thank you for introducing me to a whole new world of music! I will always be here no matter what! Through happiness, and sadness, and hippies, and puppies, and losses, and creepers. SPANKS GURL! You've made my life so much more than it ever was before I met you!

I believe...

Today, I was supposed to return to school after our winter holidays. I was dreading this. Well duh, everyone does! No one wants to spend eight hours and twenty five minutes in a cement hell hole. Yesterday I was praying, literally praying to God for just one more day... I got it. My dear friend Kayla texted me last night saying "There is a rumor going around that the heaters at school are broken". I was like Okay, who came up with that one. Then later my mom told me the same thing, which got me thinking, Is this for real? I woke up this morning groggy and grumpy. (Completely expected) While I was getting my clothes together I heard the phone ring. How odd, who would call at 7:15? Turns out it was my mom telling my dad that all of the heaters at my school were broken, and also that school might be cancelled for us. (Here's the thing, Bowie High is made solely out of concrete. In the summer its Dante's Inferno. In the winter its an icebox.) With no heat, we would freeze our little buttsies off! My pops was really sceptical about the whole thing. He had the radio on, the television on, and was googling some thing close to "bowie high closed due to lack of heaters". Finally, he found a news channel's website that had "All Classes Canceled at Bowie High School" as its headline,CONFIRMED! We then checked the school district website, CONFIRMED! Proceeded to call the school, CONFIRMED! Now I'm at home snuggled in my Snuggie, waiting for my sister to wake up so I can scare the crap out of her. WHAT A DAY!
